The Gazette features the renown Winnie Mandela. She was a member of the African National Congress and headed the women league. She was called “Mother of the Nation,” in absence of her husband, Nelson Mandela. who was jailed for 27 years on Robben Island. Mrs. Mandela passed away on April 2, 2018, at the age of 81 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
