ROBBINS, IL–Diamonique Byrd demonstrated brilliant creativity when she came up with the idea of putting sparkly diamonds on her t-shirts and then named it after herself, “Diamond Tees.” What a genius moment.
Diamond Tees is an independent business located in Robbins and the t-shirts were recently on display at the MEISS Expo, where we spoke to Diamonique about her t-shirt business. Ms. Bryd, who works out of her home has owned and operated Diamond Tees for more than three years. She was inspired to start the business after creating diamond t-shirts for her baby shower.
“I did diamond t-shirts for my baby shower as a gift and on the day of the shower, we all wore diamond t-shirts. I have been doing t-shirts ever since. It’s a passion I enjoy.”
How lucrative is the t-shirt business? Well, it all depends on which perspective you view the business. Design Hill, an online t-shirt business explained that by 2025, the t-shirt business will reach $10 billion dollars. Needless to say, the t-shirt business is definitely the industry to be in.
Diamond Tees come in all sizes and colors. “People tell me their idea, and I do a mock-up design and if it’s something they like, then I will create a custom design for them,” Diamonique said.
Diamonique creates diamond tees for birthdays, holidays, and business events. T-shirts are made on-demand and to request your diamond tee for your next event, contact Dominique at firstname.lastname@example.org.
